A community where no one begins alone

Everyone deserves a place to begin.

Open Hands Foundation walks alongside families through their hardest seasons - putting food on the table, keys in their hands, and books in their children's backpacks. Your gift turns a hard week into a hopeful one.

87¢ of every dollar reaches our programs. Registered 501(c)(3) charity.

Our mission

We don't hand out charity. We build dignity.

For 18 years, Open Hands has believed that the way you help matters as much as the help itself. We meet neighbors with respect, listen before we act, and stay until they are standing on their own.

  • People first

Every program is shaped by the families it serves, not by a boardroom.

  • Radically transparent

Open books, published outcomes, and a finance report any donor can read.

  • Lasting change

We don't stop at relief - we walk the full road back to stability.

What we do
