Itinerary highlights
Patagonia Traverse, day by day
A taste of our flagship nine-day trek. Tap any day to see the route, the terrain and where you’ll lay your head that night.
Meet your guide at the park gate, fit gear and hike a gentle warm-up through lenga forest to our riverside camp. Welcome dinner and a route briefing under the stars.
Stay: Riverside tented camp
A big-mileage day along the western shore with sweeping views of Grey Glacier. We rope up for two suspension bridges before dropping to a sheltered camp at the ice front.
Stay: Glacier Camp refugio
The trip’s high point — an early start to the French Valley amphitheatre, ringed by hanging glaciers. We pause for a long lunch with the towers in full view before descending.
Stay: Cuernos mountain hut
A pre-dawn scramble to the lookout for first light on the granite towers — the photo you came for. We celebrate back at the lodge with a final feast and stories from the trail.
Stay: Lakeside eco-lodge

Why Summit & Shore
Guides first. Crowds never.
We’ve been running small-group trips since 2009 with one rule: keep the groups small and the guiding world-class. Here’s what that means for your trip.
-
01
Real local guides
Certified leaders who grew up on these trails and waters — not flown in for the season.
-
02
Twelve travellers, tops
Smaller groups move faster, eat better and actually get to know each other.
-
03
Carbon-balanced & fair
Every departure is offset, and a share of each booking funds local trail upkeep.
-
04
Flexible & covered
Free date changes up to 30 days out, plus weather guarantees on every trip.
